New Year's resolution...time and space to think

It's New Year's Day, y'all!

I am especially excited about 2013. I have some big plans ahead of me, including the enormous task of publishing my first book by the spring. As well, I just came across another provoking publishing project, and if it's a go, I will certainly unveil the details of it in a future blog post.

However, on such a significant calendar day as today, I wanted to share with you the deep thought that arrived in my little brain earlier today as I was driving home from a night of debauchery in Old Montreal. It's a short commute between Ottawa and Montreal, but in that time I found complete and utter silence, or in other words, space to think. Silence is such an underrated virtue--so hard to achieve (no commercials, texts, Twitter, talking) yet the only true way to settle things in the mind and find answers to lingering questions.

So with that, I am wishing all of you much peace and quiet in the New Year.
